SRI AUROBINDO PUBLIC SCHOOL is a part of Jnanadeepa Vidya Samsthe (JDVS), which has built an enviable reputation as a Group that offers a quality of holistic education and has been preparing students with an education for a lifetime.
JDVS has established a group of highly motivated educational enthusiasts. SAPS is a co-educational institution that took shape with an aim of providing education to children of various backgrounds.
They found that through proper motivation, children learn through experimentation, reading, discussion, questioning, listening, thinking, reflecting and expressing oneself, and acquire skills of all kinds in the course of their development.

Pre-School
Cultivating excellence in every student is our vision. ‘Aurobindo’ offers each child a safe, caring and friendly environment. Children are encouraged to explore, imagine and learn through fun and play.
The infrastructure is planned and designed to undertake a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Concepts are taught using play-way methods to make learning a “fairy tale experience”.
Kindergarten
‘SAPS’ provides highly effective teaching focused on improving student outcomes through commitment to ongoing professional development, quality teaching, evidence-based practices, coaching, mentoring and collaboration.
We have well-trained and experienced staff. We create an atmosphere that motivates students to discover the world around them. We stimulate inquisitiveness and boost self-confidence to help them do things on their own.
Primary School
At this stage, your child starts to learn new concepts and ideas.
In Primary School, i.e., Grade I-V, children begin to learn concepts that form the basis of their understanding of life. This is the time they need to be eased into comprehending and grasping theoretical ideas that can be stored for future reference. Before they are taught anything, they need to learn how to learn.
Students at the primary level are therefore exposed to myriad learning tools and stimuli to explore and develop their multiple intelligences. The primary school classroom looks more like a curiosity studio, with interactive learning aids, colourful display boards and activity zones.

Middle School

The Middle School, i.e., Grade VI-VIII at Sri Aurobindo Public School, offers varied activities guided by well-qualified and experienced mentors. These activities help children instill a love for subjects and encourage them to develop an investigative mind.
Regular assessments and assignments help optimize the learning experience. Parents are kept informed so that they can help guide children towards positive learning.

Therefore, the emphasis on academic excellence is highest at the High School level, Grade IX-X, with intensive coaching, assignments and assessments throughout the academic year.
Every student is also given individual attention to help them achieve their highest potential. Teacher-parent interaction is encouraged to help guardians track and promote their child’s progress at this crucial academic juncture.

At SAPS, every child is considered equal and everyone is welcome to join us. That is why we have tried to administer an admissions procedure that is reasonable, impartial and fair-minded, so that your child feels encouraged to begin learning with a clean slate.
Enquiry
Enquiries for admissions usually come from various sources, including the website, advertisements, flyers, emails, referrals, walk-in customers and unit schools.
Registration
The Admission Department Staff attends to enquiries and informs parents to fill up the Registration Forms available on the website or at the Admission Office of the School.
The Admission Officer checks all forms received on a daily basis. The parent is then called to confirm the child’s availability, and the date for the Admission Interview or Assessment is fixed.

Yoga & Karate
The physical and mental well-being of students is nurtured through karate and yoga sessions conducted by qualified instructors.
Dance & Music

Workshops and Seminars

Metric Mela
An educational event that helps students gain experience in trade and marketing. Students are given an opportunity to sell products of their choice and calculate profit and loss.
The mela is also a charitable venture, with a percentage of the profit contributed to orphanages or old-age homes.
Competitions
The talents of students are discovered and recognized by giving them opportunities to participate in interschool competitions, such as Talent Tests, National Olympiads and competitive language examinations.
Students also participate in intra-school competitions in art, quiz, music and dance.
School Trips
The school organizes trips to resorts, cultural and heritage sites, community service centres, museums, planetariums, and science and research organizations.

Reading
SAPS encourages reading habits by conducting book fairs in association with Scholastic India on the school premises. Students get an opportunity to browse various genres, from fairy tales to science fiction.
The school also conducts ‘Newspaper in Education’ with Deccan Herald to enrich vocabulary, elevate literary skills and keep students updated with world affairs.

Inspire
The annual school magazine, “Inspire”, gives an account of the various activities and achievements of the school while providing a platform for children to enhance their literary talents.
Cleanliness
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. Cleanliness is one of the important traits of SAPS.

The Morning Assembly
Before beginning their day, the Principal, students and teachers assemble and participate in Light Channeling, the school prayer and patriotic songs.
The thought for the day, health tips, personal anecdotes of good work and birthday wishes are also shared.
A value-based assembly is conducted once every week. Holy Scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible and the Quran are read to help students understand the importance of religious tolerance in a multicultural country like India.
The assembly also includes a science talk delivered by science staff to update students on recent scientific developments.
Lubricating The Cogwheels
Our teachers participate in seminars conducted by the CBSE, Bangalore Sahodaya and other CBSE-empanelled agencies.
As the professional development of a teacher directly impacts student performance, the school conducts numerous in-house workshops.
These workshops combine pedagogical knowledge, practical tools and inspiration. The Skills to Succeed Teacher Support Programme equips teachers with skills to enhance effectiveness and productivity in classroom teaching.

Light Channeling
The Light Channeling session during the morning assembly allows light carrying the energies of healing, love, peace and positivity to descend into the students and then spread around the world.

This programme helps the school, students and parents transform academic progress into a fruitful career.
Technology In Education
Computer-aided learning, classrooms equipped with smart boards and well-equipped laboratories for science, mathematics and computers contribute to interactive learning that goes beyond textbooks.

Sports
Sports events are conducted class-wise, and students are encouraged to participate in both outdoor and indoor games.
Sports Day is a great day for all students. Team events such as Volleyball, Throw Ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Tug-of-War are among the most exciting events.
Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM)
Regular PTMs are conducted to keep parents and teachers connected in the interest of students’ progress and well-being.
Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted class-wise to discuss the safety of children both at school and at home.
Child Safety
The school has strengthened its safety measures and set up systems to safeguard children. CCTV cameras are installed in all classrooms, corridors, the cellar, the school ground and at the entrance.
Security guards from a reputed agency are deployed round the clock. Details of teaching and non-teaching staff are submitted to the police station for verification.

Health Check Up
Students’ health check-ups are conducted every year by qualified doctors.
